Sending messages
I chose three different type of pictures with the same type of meaning and sending the same great message through. Firstly I used a family picture, a typical family picture... mum, dad and two kids, this picture is under the title family. The second picture are two female best friends clearly shown. This is also under the title family. The third picture is a kitten hugged with love against the owners face.

The message is, not only blood makes other people who are either different from you or don't look the same as you family. People you love and people you trust are family too. Animals you keep and take responsibility for are family and you treat them with love and kindness, make them feel included and important. Best friends are like sisters and you trust them and put them in the family list because they are always there for you. You love them. Lastly family is family, connected by blood but still lovable and very important in ones life. The message as a whole is very strong and people can relate. People who are in your heart are always going to be family, connected by blood or not.

To be honest I don't think I would really want to put any improvements to my current message because I think its a very meaningful message and I thought about it really carefully before any actions made but maybe I could have been less emotional and more creative as an improvement but either way I love my current one anyway.
If I could have done anything differently I think I would have maybe made more sending messages with pictures and writing because I only had time for one and as a result I only had one message but that's it.

News Stories

1) What were the five stories your group chose to broadcast?

Greenford news story: year 8 trip to the uk nihongo cup Japanese.
National news story: Psychological studies on emotion from facebook.
London news story: London underground power control eight day strike.
Sports news story: The match between Argentina and Switzerland.
Funny news story: Woman giving birth in front of Primark.

2) For each story above, explain WHY you chose that particular story and not something else. Why would it interest a Greenford audience?
Greenford news story: We chose this story because… its really involved with Greenford Highschool which infact is in Greenford so as a result it comes up Greenford news stories also it is quite interesting knowing about the trips going on.
National news story: We chose this story because…Its about Facebook so as a result its quite national as a lot of people around the world who use Facebook
London news story: We chose this story because…Its quite light-hearted and people in London would be interested knowing that the underground power control isn't actively on
Sports news story: We chose this story because…many people watch the world cup and would find it useful to hear about the different goals and what's happening with football.
Funny news story: We chose this story because…It's a very unusual and quite amusing news, unique too so people would be amused to hear and know about it.

3) What order did you broadcast the stories in? Why did you place the stories in that order?
We put it in an order where the normal stories were in the beginning the serious ones were in the middle and the last funny ones were at the end as they were light-hearted.

4) How did you make sure the script was the right length?
we all made sure we had around 12 seconds or one sentence at most to say to all add up to 60 seconds when we gave our news in as we were all working individually when trying to find the different genre of news.

5) How did you make sure each story was clear and easy to understand?
We put them into simple sentences where it was straight forward when writing the script so that its easy for the people watching to be able to understand no matter what age.

6) How did you make sure the broadcast was professional?
When speaking I made sure I was loud and clear, looking into the camera to maintain focus and professional performance.

7) What was your specific role in the group?
My role was to find the London news story and then I was the one who chose to speak out for the camera and present for the group.

8) Rate your group’s ability to work collaboratively out of 5 (1=poor, 5=excellent)
I rate my groups ability to work a 5 because we had great teamwork and gave in each others ideas and considered each other as important. Another reason was because we had no arguments about decisions and we all agreed on each other and made sure everyone felt involved.

9) How could your group have worked more effectively as a team?
I don't think we could have improved and couldn't really worked much more effectively.

10) Finally, what would you have done differently if you were given the opportunity to do this again?
I honestly wouldn't have done anything differently except practise my speech for talking in front of the camera
so that id come out more professionally but as a whole I think we done amazing as a group and individual.
